Tentative Tryout Dates and Times for 2012-2013 Season
These times are subject to change. The final times will be confirmed at the parent information meetings.
NOTE: Onside registration will start 1 hour prior to Session 1 for each age group.

We highly recommend attendance at the first two tryout sessions.
Please notify us if you will be late or have to leave early from a tryout session.
A parent/guardian must remain at the tryout.
Important Notes
Players must be registered with USAV before attending any tryout. This includes registering through the online system, completing electronic signatures, and paying the appropriate fee. Fees must be received and recorded in the players record prior to a player attending a tryout.
Players may attend tryouts if they are still in their middle school season. Participating in a club tryout is not a UIL violation.
In order to speed up your check-in for tryouts you may pre-register. Please show up at least 30 minutes before your tryout start time in order to check in and get prepared for the tryout.
What to Bring to Tryouts
- Receipt of your online registration with USAV (print multiple copies if you plan on trying out for more than 1 club)
- A completed medical release form (it does not need to be notarized for the tryout)
- A completed Assumption of Risk Form
- A copy of your daughter's birth certificate
- $50 tryout fee (cash or check made out to Tejas Volleyball)
- Checkbook to pay your deposit if your daughter accepts an offer to play one of our teams
The Tejas Volleyball Club is a proud supporter of the North Texas Region Coaches Ethics on not recruiting athletes during their school season. The purpose of the North Texas Region Tryout Procedures is to allow athletes the opportunity to tryout for multiple clubs and be able to make an informed decision on for which club the will play. It is against the North Texas Region Coaches Ethics to pressure an athlete into signing with a club prior to the established signing date. All offers that are made to an athlete must be honored from the offer date all the way until the signing date. The North Texas Region Tryout Guide is a good tool to utilize in making sure you are prepared for the upcoming tryout process.
We will be out watching our former athletes play often this school season, but please do not be discouraged if we do not come up and talk to you if we do not have a prior relationship with you...it is against Tejas' and the Region's ethics. However, you are welcomed to approach us or contact us and ask us anything you want.
